Raid – World War II
Production company: Goodbye Kansas Studios
My role: Cloth simulation
I assisted Goodbye Kansas with the setup and simulation of clothes for the hero characters in the game trailer for Raid – World War II. They are all wearing thick, heavy garments so there is not a lot of apparent motion, but without it there would be a lot of intersection in elbows, armpits and with the gear they are wearing, and they would for sure look stiff. The main challenges were to create robust setups that could easily be reused for all the scenes and to rig and simulate the battle harness for the guy that is banging on the cabinets.
